How to Afford Fancy {looking} Tile!

Wednesday, July 18, 2018Written by: Mallory

Have you ever looked at someone’s bathroom or kitchen and thought WOW! Whether it is the backsplash in a kitchen, the wall tile in a shower, or the floors in any room, incredible tile can make a room! Incredible tile can also make the room incredibly EXPENSIVE. The reason some of these rooms you ‘Ooh’ and ‘Ahh’ over LOOK like a million bucks because they cost nearly that! The secret to incorporating beautiful, funky, trendy, shiny, awesome tile is

A)     Shopping around for deals (duh)

B)      Using the tile you love the most in a very small area so that you can afford it!
(I.e., an area with very little backsplash, shower floors or shower niches, picture framed behind a tub, half bath or small bathroom floor, etc!)

Below are some of our favorite tile patterns! Some of these examples we’ve used in small areas for jobs! Some are available options from some of our favorite tile companies that have great deals on tile patterns that look expensive! I’ll link some of their sites below!
